Eri-Silk Scarf – WD407
100% Ethical 'Eri' silk
This scarf is ethical silk meaning the silk worm is not killed during the process of extracting the silk yarns. Instead it lives to become a butterfly and flies off from the cocoon. This silk comes from the 'Eri' silkworm which is native to the region of Assam, India.
Beautiful scarf in the natural 'Eri' silk colour. The scarf has woven 'stripes' on the bottom half of each end that look like stitches in the same cream colour as the main scarf. This scarf is named after the woman who wove it ('Rani').
